The West House School Parents’ Association (PA) exists to foster a feeling of ‘community’ amongst the parents through its social events, whilst at the same time raising funds for the benefit of the whole school.

The Association, through its fundraising activities, generates an income which is donated to the school in order to provide extra equipment or activities for the pupils, over and above that which the school would normally be expected to provide. In the last few years, the PA has paid for many different items requested by parents and staff; these include the enhancement of Duce Hall and the Nature Reserve.

The PA Committee meets once a month along with a representative from the school’s Senior Leadership Team. We aim to ensure that each and every year group in the school, from Nursery to Year 6, is kept well informed about the various events being organised or issues being discussed. The Committee is run by a Chair, a Secretary and a Treasurer, who are elected at the AGM from the Committee Members.
